Project Delivery Co-ordinator
We are looking for an organised and detail conscious individual with exceptional communication skills, previous experience and knowledge of project co-ordination and/or QS work, and ideally experience in bid writing, to join our successful Repairs, Maintenance and Planned Maintenance company based in Havant.
This role is an exciting opportunity to gain further exposure to both bid writing and project delivery. With an excellent level of written English, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to our bids by writing persuasive, client-focused content for tenders, reflecting the quality services our Company provides. You will be finding business opportunities, developing tenders and driving the administration and co-ordination of projects.
This will include taking ownership for collating, completing and submitting documents and clarifying information requests relating to the tendering process, as well as organising, distributing and ensuring timely return of tender documentation from sub-contractors & suppliers. Once a project is won, you will be involved in site set-up requirements, raising purchase orders and invoices for sub-contractors, collating valuations, administering variations and extensions to time, cash flow & retention administration, collating O&M manual information, programme updates and collating sign off paperwork. The role will also involve attending pre-start and site meetings and taking minutes/summaries of discussions.
Our ideal candidate is likely to hold a qualification such as HND or degree level in Quantity Surveying or Building, have some experience of bid management, together with an awareness of CDM regulations and HSE/O & M manual requirements and the ability to understand and manage the scope of works. Applicants with experience in other built environment situations will also be considered. GCSE English and Maths or equivalent are essential.
You will be a confident and articulate communicator with the natural ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders. You will have experience of drafting and reviewing written communications to deliver specific messages within tight deadlines, with the flexibility and strong time management skills to cope with several jobs running simultaneously. The role also requires you to be highly competent in MS Office software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant tools such as MS Project.
